| Her
work has also recently been featured in Very
Magazine, Blend, L'Officiel,
Manic of Malta, The
Independent of Malta, Issue One
from London and many more. Pat has contributed her unique vision
and taste to Brazilian Vogue, collaborating
with Associate Editor Danniel Rangel.
Her work was later presented at the Joyce
Gallery at the Palais Royal, in Paris
in 2006. After returing from Paris she had the honor to join
Staley Wise in 2006. Pat began
to produce digital images and her first digital images were
displayed at Paris Photo with Staley
Wise in 2007. Pat also had two very successful shows in Rio
de Janeiro at the Gallerio Tempo, 2006 and 2007.
Pat
then had a one woman show with Sous les
Etoiles Gallery in New York City
on October, 2007 entitled 'Dollface', which also included a
published portfolio of Pat Kurs work. Her trademark vintage
polaroids were shown as big as 30" x 40" in their
full glory. In June of that year Sous les Etoiles represented
her at the Basel Art Fair. Later in June her second digital
"Sea Butterflies" was auctioned and sold at Friends
in Deed, New York City. Another photo appeared in the Jed
Johnson room at the Kips Bay
Boy's Show, in July of 2007. Her work was shown in August, 2008
at the Norton Museum of Art, West
Palm Beach, Florida and twice at San Francisco Cameraworks.
She
has always had an extensive turn out of people from all over
the art world. She appeared in Basel Miami
in December 2008 and then again in March 2009. Then, in an auction
in the SF Cameraworks and at the Bailey
House in NYC in 2009. In October 2009 Pat Kurs' photographs,
Polaroid and digital were the subject of an exhibition at the
Palace in Sliema, Malta.
She eagerly anticipates another exhibition in Brazil
in the spring/summer of 2011.
